CLASSES, ENTERTAINMENT & TRIPS

Residents of Sun City Huntley by Del Webb may participate in a variety of classes, lecture series, entertainment programing, and one-day trips. A full-time Lifestyle Manager on staff plans an action-packed calendar. 

New activities are published every month in the official Association publication, Lifestyles, which is distributed to every home in the community.

Special Events
The Lifestyle Department manages special events like concerts by entertainers like Old's Cool and Denny Diamond in addition to community-wide spelling bees, Halloween-themed Bingo, and afternoon movies - complete with popcorn.

Classes
Have you ever wanted to learn a new language? Perhaps try a new make-up application technique? Or finally figure out how to use your new iPhone? Classes offer residents opportunities to engage in hobbies, learn new skills - and, mostly, have fun!

Scheduled every Friday morning, our Lifelong Learning Lecture series is managed by the Triple L Committee, a group of volunteer residents, and features speakers and presentations on many subjects, including historical and noteworthy people, places, and things. 

One-Day Trips
Organized by the Volunteer Trip Escort Committee (VTEC), one-day trips allow residents to travel to nearby places like the Drury Lane Theater, Arlington Race Track, and Wrigley Field. Sun City Huntley by Del Webb is perfectly situated to take advantage of Chicago's annual events, including the Air and Water Show in summer and Christkindlmarket in winter.
