What Does Wellness Mean To You?
Member Access
Most people think of their overall health and well-being and the absence of illness when they think of wellness. But, wellness goes beyond the neutral point of being free of signs and symptoms of disease. It is making conscious choices to grow. We often hold ourselves back because of fear. It feels safe and secure to keep doing what we have always done. It is sometimes painful to look at our old habits and acknowledge that we need to make changes. Wellness can be accomplished by finding balance in all areas of your life. It is a holistic concept with several dimensions. What is your level of satisfaction in each of these areas:
Health/Well-being – How is your overall health? Evaluate this by having a personal wellness assessment.
Family Relationships – How fulfilling is your relationship with your family?
Friends – Are your friendships meeting your needs?
Significant Other/Romance – Are you at peace with this aspect of your life?
PersonalGrowth/Development – Do you continue to make this a priority in your life?
Fun and Recreation – Do you give yourself permission to take time and money to play?
Environment – Hopefully after moving to Sun City you are satisfied with your home and the surroundings!
Money – Is this causing you stress?
Career – Are you content?
Let us help you on your wellness journey. We offer a variety of services to meet your needs. Be sure to check out our new programs this quarter!
